Fun with Kraft!

I created this card for my Inspired by Stamping design team, but I also wanted to share it here on the WorldWin blog because I used WorldWin Kraft cardstock for the background!

I am a bit fussy about my kraft cardstock. It must be the "correct" kraft color! Some is too light and some too dark. The WorldWin Kraft is JUST RIGHT! It is the perfect color and thickness.

I used an embossing folder from Couture Creations. This folder is from the Serenity Collection and is called Chiaro. You can see the deep embossing I got with the folder and the Kraft cardstock! So pretty! {I know, only I would get this excited about paper!}

I stamped a sentiment from the Inspired by Stamping Beautiful Iris set and cut it out with a circle die template. The black cardstock is WorldWin Treasures Pitch Black. I love this cardstock. It is really thick and textured. (And, WorldWin has several shades of black! How cool is that?!)

I made a bouquet with some paper flowers that I found in my stash. I really love how the blue and green play off against the white and kraft!

To make the embossing stand out, I rubbed the surface of the paper with some white ink.

Quick and Easy Cards

Hello! I know the blog has been VERY quiet, but we are getting ready to share some new products from WorldWin. It's been exceptionally busy since CHA and some management changes has kept the team in a little bit if limbo, but things are getting on track now. We will be sharing some awesome things in the next couple of months.

In the meantime, I thought I would share some simple cards that can be made in a jiffy with some basic supplies. You can choose your sentiment and color scheme.

I made three cards, basically the same, just different colors, sentiments and embellies. I only used a few supplies, cardstock, vellum, ribbon, embossing folders, sentiment stamps, miscellaneous dies, and liquid pearls, or self adhesive pearls.

For the first one, I used lavendar for my color. I stamped the sentiments onto vellum and also ran a piece of vellum through and embossing folder for each card as well.

I also used a die for each sentiment, and matted the sentiments on the same color cardstock as the base of each card.

Add ribbon and pearls to each one and you're done! Really simple and cute cards and you can customize them all kinds of ways! I added some "faux stitching" on each card for a finishing touch!

I hope you liked seeing this, and I hope you try your own combinations as well!!! Please check back later to see the new things we have in store for you. The design team has been itching to get going with these!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
